I started dancing at the age of five, and from the very beginning, it felt like home.
Over the last 35 years, dance has shaped nearly every part of my life — as a performer, teacher, choreographer, director, mentor, and creative. What began in the studio eventually grew into a career that has taken me across the United States and internationally, allowing me to connect with dancers and communities through movement, education, and artistry.
In 2004, I began performing professionally aboard Holland America Line, where I spent nearly eight years traveling the world as a dancer and singer. That experience not only strengthened me as a performer, but expanded the way I viewed storytelling, discipline, professionalism, and connection through performance.
After returning to the Pacific Northwest, I shifted my focus toward teaching, choreography, and mentorship. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with dancers of all ages and levels through competitive programs, guest teaching, conventions, intensives, choreography commissions, and master classes in styles including Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Jazz Funk, Hip Hop, Musical Theater, and technique-based training.
In 2018, I became Owner and Artistic Director of Pacific West Performing Arts, where I helped build and lead a training environment centered around growth, accountability, artistry, and community. That role deepened my understanding of leadership and reinforced the importance of creating spaces where dancers feel both challenged and supported.
My work as an educator has always been about more than steps or routines. I believe great training should build confident, adaptable artists — dancers who not only grow technically, but understand discipline, professionalism, individuality, and how to connect authentically to their work.
Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to teach and choreograph throughout the United States and internationally, continuing to evolve both creatively and personally with every opportunity. No matter the room, my goal remains the same: to motivate, inspire, and leave dancers stronger than I found them.
Dance has given me a life far beyond what I imagined when I first stepped into a studio at three years old, and I’m incredibly grateful to still be doing what I love every single day.
