The Sunday Indies program is officially being rebranded as the 3rd Shift Dance Youth Ensemble in its 4th season. The primary focus of this ensemble is to serve as a feeder company into the adult, professional company, to provide a place for the 3rd Shift Dance professionals to create choreography, and to provide non-competitive performance opportunities to the Youth Ensemble. The secondary focus for those interested, in competiting the works choreographed during the program.

Company class and rehearsals will be held from 12p-2:30p Sundays beginning August 7, 2016 at Allegro Performing Arts Academy. Choreographers will set works August, September, October, and November for presentation in tandem with the professional company. Full company choreographer roster to be announced upon acceptance to the Youth Ensemble.

This company is geared towards dancers ages 13-20 and dancers are welcome and encouraged to train at the studio(s) of their choice during the week. We are seeking dancers who are driven, compassionate, and open to real exploration in rehearsal.
